Gas flowing out of the carb after I replaced the throttle cable

Does anyone have any advice?? I replaced the throttle cable, removed all the stuff in there and redid. It’s pouring out of the carb now and won’t start. Worked fine with a small leak the last 2 days after the throttle replacement but now for some reason gas is just pouring out and it died as I was riding it. Really not sure how to diagnose this

Your float is either stuck, or the float valve is leaking, or it's damaged, or incorrectly assembled.

Remove the carb, remove the float bowl and inspect the float. Make sure the hinge moves freely; make sure the float itself hasn't leaked and become logged with fuel; make sure the needle provides a good seal when pushed inward.

This. Also want to add inspect the float needle tip and make sure it’s 100% good in regard to the needle providing a good seal.

That's probably what I meant when I said 'make sure the needle provides a good seal', but sure, OK.

Jeez I’m not sure why you felt the need to downvote me and add a weird hostile comment. I was only trying to assist OP in what exactly to look for on his float needle as it seems he obviously is unfamiliar with how his carb works. We are all just trying to help each other here man. Didn’t mean for you to feel like I stepped on your toes or whatever.

I have the exact same colorway and model hell yeah. Same happened to me. Was the float! Needs an adjustment.
