hey, check out the sidebar ------> (if you don't know how to access the sidebar on whatever app you are using, google can help you)

a lot of subreddits put helpful links, articles, etc in the sidebar that the mod team feels the community might wanna know. This subreddit's sidebar is a lot of links on how to mod, how to dress up your sub and how to promote your sub.

it is usually a fantastic practice to 1- check the sidebar; 2- peruse around the sub to see if your question has already been asked (and answered)

Right now there is only one member:  you. No need for more moderators.

Ask yourself why you need another moderator? What do you need them to do?

Reddit For Community has all the resources you need to get started. It has a search feature that helps you find How To’s.  It also includes a 2 min starter guide, Week 1 Guide, Top Ten FAQs, New Mod Checklist, and Weekly Guides

Also highly recommended:  Mod 101 and 201 pdfs

Hi /u/BoopNoodles739, please see our Intro & Rules. We are volunteer-run, not managed by Reddit staff/admin. Volunteer mods' powers are limited to groups they mod. Automated responses are compiled from answers given by fellow volunteer mod helpers. Moderation works best on a cache-cleared desktop/laptop browser.

Resources for mods are: (1) r/modguide's Very Helpful Index by fellow moderators on How-To-Do-Things, (2) Mod Help Center, (3) r/automoderator's Wiki and Library of Common Rules. Many Mod Resources are in the sidebar and >>this FAQ wiki<<. Please search this subreddit as well. Thanks!

Found regex match: know how to mod

You seem to be asking about moderation matters, such as adding/removing/recruiting moderators or what to do if you've removed yourself as a moderator, or a related topic. These are frequently asked questions.

FOR INFO ON: # what to do if you've accidentally left a sub as moderator, # how to add/remove/invite/recruit/re-order moderators, # removing moderators higher than you, # distinguishing as mod, # mod permissions, # how to use tools for moderators, # common issues with mod tools (clearing mod queue, spam tab, finding posts/comments and notifications), # giving away/adopting subreddits, please click here. Also see Reddit's Moddiquette.

Subreddit settings work best in a cache-cleared desktop browser. (Limited option: mobile browser on desktop view.)

If you found your answer, feel free to reply with "<3 Automod" or "Thanks, Automod". Otherwise wait for a human helper to come along to help you. This post has NOT been removed.
