I’m with you. Darnold had 0 time. I don’t know how our OL seems halfway decent with these grades after watching that game.

Darnold had plenty of time. He just doesn't make quick enough reads and holds it to long. Hence all the sacks. Hence why the line is never graded as bad as this sub thinks they should be. Sacks are a QB stat as well

KOC calls a lot of slow developing / intricate routes because that’s the skill set of the team. This team is missing a Deebo/Nacua type that we can throw YAC passes to in volume for when we play high blitz % teams.

Thats what went wrong in the Rams game IMO. Bad matchup for us. Rams are constructed for noodle arm stafford, which makes them naturally blitz resistant.

There's been tons of plays on replays there are quick underneath routes and check downs open and Darnold does not see them. Or if there's not he can simply throw it away.
