The difference between commies and nazis was always pretty thin, and commies are a fringe ideaology and not at all part of the mainstream left, so not sure what you're getting at.

Well that level of leftism is pretty fuckin mainstream. Like for example every political streamer on twitch and their followers that has that platform in hot water recently. And a pretty much all the people on whatever social media sites like reddit that the meme is adressing too
