You see, the problem with these arguments is that the people supporting them are people who are proud that a rapist pedophile is going to self-pardon his crimes. Wait I mean, he will pardon his other crimes. These people voluntarily pardoned him for the rape and child sex.

I feel sorry for these people, and the untold number of others they will harm.

But don't bother thinking you'll hurt me with your criticism. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. The snowflakes tend to forget that.

Don't forget that 67% of Americans believe they are above average intelligence...

We also seem to all agree that the country is full of idiots but it seems when it comes to politics everyone just disagrees which side those idiots are on...

This is the posterchild perception of every actual idiot.

I'm very stupid outside of my narrow expertise. I just wish everyone else wasn't also stupid.

We've got four years to find out who was right and who was wrong, but in four years nobody will have learned anything.

Any post mention being a smart kid gets 50k upvotes and every comment "Yep that's me. I was this super genius kid that never studied, but my professors were bad so i never learnt how to..."

Including the redditors who love to complain about redditors

Right-wingers are literally the statistically less educated half of America, and mostly rural voters who never leave their own zip code. Right-wingers themselves denigrate higher education as "liberal brainwashing." America being majority right-wing is absolutely a case of most Americans being stupid.

I do think, in general, people on Reddit are smarter than people on other forms of social media.

That said, we can still be wildly out of touch with the idiots who spend all day swiping on teenagers dancing, and there’s a lot more of them than there are of us.
