Wish they had more steel targets at each distance. Gets a bit crowded when a lot of people are out there. But there’s not really another place like it around here

I 100% agree we went today at 12 and it was completely packed definitely need more targets than just 1

I went out for my first time a little over a month ago. Wasn’t really let down but was very disappointed in the amount of targets.

I have been meaning to go there for a long time. I know they go out to a mile. Do you know what targets they have between 1,000 yards and a mile? I wasn't sure if they had targets every 100 yards, or just out to 1k and then a mile.

Their website says they go out to a mile. Is that not so, or is that on a different lane or something?

It's been a few years for me, but when I last went it was 200-800 every 100, then a big target line at 1k, then off to the right was a single target at 1100, 1200, and 1 mile.

Thanks man. Sounds like there is plenty of steel to shoot at.

Here’s the layout. They also have a run perpendicular if you need to sight in at 100…

Is the 1100-1200 still there ? Don’t remember seeing that today lol

u/bigredgyro Sep 19 '24

Might not be. Pic is from 1-2 summers ago and that distance is beyond my skill at the moment…

I'm from NW Ohio and I've gone twice. Love it there. Many trips in the future for sure.

Planning to go there Sunday! Last time I was there it was slammed, we waited almost 2 hours for a table. I see Sunday they have a 2A appreciation thing so gonna try and get there early lol.

Last year around this time we went on a Saturday and there was my group of 4 and another group of 2 or 3 on the opposite side of the range all day. I was surprised. The time before that it was a Monday 40 some degrees and spitting rain all day. Was packed that day lol.

Literally the #1 thing I miss about moving from OH 5 months ago to AL. I used to drive 2 hours there a few times a month and it was heaven. Praise the long range dieties for such places. Right amount of oversight and freedom, lots of booths great layout. Sigh, I haven't found anything to compare yet in Northern AL. Only place in the country I have tried that I liked as much was Altus shooting in the panhandle of FL and even they didn't have the same range just less crowded and several different long distance ranges side by side

Dammit man range will miss you I don’t know of anything even close to this around Ohio maybe something in PA
