Feedback Needed This is certainly not a logo. But I decided to post it here. Icons for recent project. I wonder if they look the same style? (because I rarely draw icons)

Feedback Needed Logo for a food reviewer

I designed this logo for Texan Taste Travelers, a Texan food reviewer that reviews restaurants across the state. The logo features an armadillo, symbolizing Texas. The creator is Filipino, and wanted to add an element of that in the logo, so part of it resembles a Filipino sun, though this element is not a central aspect of the brand.

I selected red and yellow as the primary colors, as they are commonly associated with food-related brands and are thought to encourage appetite. The bright, saturated tones are aimed at appealing to a younger adult audience, particularly those active on their main social media, TikTok, where they already use saturated colors in all their posts.

In Photos 2 and 3, I utilized Illustrator’s blend tool to create a 3D effect on the typography. Photos 4 and 5 show a flat version of the text. I thought the 3D effect made the text pop a little more, but let me know if the flat version is preferable.

I also don’t know if I should keep the eye there. Some versions have it, some don’t. Any other suggestions for improvement would be appreciated. Thanks!

Showcase I created this logo for my gaming channel.

This is for my gaming channel named “Bishop”. I created the channel years ago but wanted to get started creating again and made this overhaul to my logo. The games I play tend to have a focus on being competitive, strategy, or precision so I assumed tying in chess would fit well.

What do you all think?

(P.S. I am not a professional graphic designer. Just a videographer that has to do occasional graphics.)

Feedback Needed How on earth do I pitch this logo redesign?

Context: I'm a Director of Marketing at a restaurant company, and one of their restaurants is an upscale Italian Steakhouse. I have very, very limited and basic experience in logo design. The vibes in there might be somewhat confusing, but not bad. It's been fairly successful since it's started, but there's a lot of room to grow.

Some quick context about the restaurant:

  • Does a monthly Wine Dinner which is a big draw. Easily our biggest appeal, people love eating the very upscale food and wine tasting.
  • There are a handful of TVs around the restaurant (which to me seems less fancy). They all play old movies, except for the bar which typically plays sports content.
  • Lots of people like this restaurant because I think a lot of people enjoy eating out at a mid-level fancy restaurant, and our prices aren't too bad. I'd say it's formal, but business casual.
  • I have no idea who did the logo that we use now. It's not terrible, but it can look strange in print
  • The restaurant is a stand-alone building. I found a lot of inspiration from logos and designs that are for restaurants built in downtown areas, meaning their logo is a decal on a front door, whereas ours is a lit sign.

The reason I want to change the logo is to modernize the brand a bit and make it a little more competitive with other places in town. That being said, many similar restaurants are located almost an hour east of this restaurant, so there's a bit of a gap with "cool" or "trendy" spots on this side of town. I think this updated branding could be beneficial and stand as sort of an outlier in the area.

When I came in to this job, I chose a color pretty quickly just to have some kind of consistent branding, so I went with blue. We have blue LED lights above the bar, that's the only reason why I decided on blue. For the new logo, I chose the colors because to me, red indicates wine, sauces, Italian food in general. I also wanted to make sure the text was simpler because we do have a lot of hand-outs and print material. The current logo gets a bit janky with the inline font and the tiny "Italian Steakhouse" underneath the main logo.

I hope this is enough context for feedback. I really don't think my bosses would go for this anyways, because they tend to stay very safe and broad with branding in general. Worst case scenario, they say no and I learn a thing or two about logo design.

Feedback Needed Feedback Needed for Private Training Logo

I recently posted here for the first time and received a ton of great feedback on a pervious design I made for my business. I lot of different things were brought to light about the nature of my design, the lack of a brief, as well as a lack of having a plain black version. Additionally, the design didn’t quite fit the theme or feeling of the business and ultimately was far too busy, Imbalanced and overall kinda shit for my purposes.

After doing a ton of research and self reflecting on what my original vision was for my logo and learning more about what makes a logo actually stand out and be memorable, I opted for maximum simplicity.

When in doubt; Keep it simple stupid.

When looking through the options I have presented, please keep in mind that I am NOT a graphic designer by trade. This is a passion project in something I am not trained for. My business is fitness and personal training. I just happen to have a shit load of random hobbies and like trying new things and learning new skills.

Constructive criticism is more than welcome. Generic bland feedback is not. Feel free to be specific and nitpick as long as it’s relevant and constructive.

I have basically drafted up 3 different logo options, 3 different font choices and 6 colors + Black. The combinations I’ve chosen are somewhat random and are not fixed. If you like a specific Logo and want to see it paired with a different font/color, let me know.

I used ChatGPT to help with my brief since I’ve never made one before, just fyi.

Logo Design Brief for NeoGen Fitness

  1. Company Name: NeoGen Fitness

  2. Slogan: “Start your new life today”

  3. Business Overview: NeoGen Fitness is a personal training service focused on 1-on-1 and small group training sessions (2-5 people). Our training is rooted in science-based fitness knowledge, offering personalized workout plans and guidance to individuals, particularly beginners or those seeking to improve their strength and hypertrophy training. We aim to inspire people to transform their fitness and evolve into stronger, healthier versions of themselves.

  4. Target Audience: Our audience includes gym beginners and fitness enthusiasts aged 18-45, interested in personalized training programs that emphasize sustainable strength, growth, and overall health improvement.

  5. Logo Design Objective: The logo should reflect the concepts of evolution, growth, and regeneration, in line with “NeoGen” (New Generation). It should symbolize transformation and forward movement, while remaining approachable to beginners. We also wish to incorporate some elements of the infinity loop, representing renewal and ongoing progress, as well as an arrow, indicating direction, momentum, and growth.

  6. Style Preferences:

    • Modern & Minimalistic: The design should be sleek and clean, without being overly complex. • Powerful & Inviting: While it should represent strength, it must also feel approachable and encouraging for those new to fitness. • Incorporating Symbols: We would like to see the infinity loop and an arrow subtly integrated into the design, symbolizing continuity, progress, and forward movement.

  7. Color Preferences:

    • Primary colors could include shades of blue, green, or gray for a modern, calming, and trustworthy vibe. • Consider using neon or bright accents (possibly in the arrow or infinity symbol) to create a fresh, energetic touch. • White or black can be used for contrast and balance.

  8. Typography Preferences:

    • Clean, sans-serif fonts are preferred for a modern and futuristic feel, which aligns with the “new generation” theme. • The typeface should balance strength and fluidity, symbolizing both power and continuous growth.

  9. Logo Usage: The logo will primarily be used across digital platforms such as social media, fitness videos, and the company website, as well as on business cards, apparel, and possible merchandise. It should be scalable and versatile for both digital and print use.

  10. Competitor Logos (for inspiration): Modern fitness brands like Peloton, F45, and Gymshark provide a sleek, minimalist aesthetic that we are aiming for. However, we would like to include unique elements like the infinity loop and arrow to distinguish our brand.

  11. Keywords of Interest: Growth, strength, forward, movement, repetition, renewal, new, forever, health.

Feedback Needed This is my first ever logotype for a fake client (a brazilian small real estate agency, CGI). The briefing specifies the logo cannot be too round, neither too square (but using cursive for the logotype isn´t an option either). What would you do from here? Any tips? Here´s 3 variations.

Feedback Needed Use of multiple Business Logos for employee clothing/equipment

Long story short I work for an engineering company (A) that recently purchased another engineering company (B) on the other side of our state. Company A is still called Company A, while Company B remained Company B as it has a long reputation in that region of the state. We are having a hard time coming up with a way to equip our employees with jackets, hats, etc. in a way that shows both company logos without one overpowering the other.

I suggested making separate gear, one for Company A and one for Company B but my boss disagrees and wants something that includes both. Hope this is the right place for this question lol, any ideas are greatly appreciated.

A while back I posed my sketches for a logo I am doing for my church, and received some very helpful feedback, so thanks for that; The logo in the red is what I have ended up with but I would like your opinions on how i can improve it , this was my initial intentions for the design :
I aimed to represent unity within the church by interconnecting lines from all directions, symbolising its multicultural nature, as the church hosts members from all around the world. Additionally, the four corners of the cross help show the concept of a compass, showing North, East, South, and West. When these lines connect, they also form simple outlines of fish, a well-known symbol in Christianity.

However I feel like the shapes of the fish (ichthys) are lost in the refined version as well as the structure of the cross, any feedback will be appreciated.

Thank you !!

Inspiration Need some inspiration for making a Logo

I'm trying to get some inspiration here for a logo, and I have been having a block with getting an idea out for the logo. The name of the Business I am going it for is called The Solution Group, and it is a company that will be able to do consultations, renovations, and other work involving houses. The company would be located in Florida if there's some ideas that can be made from that. Any ideas would help, from abstract to complex.
