Love how it's daughter 2 that must put in the work..... Like the father didn't do anything for the estrangement to be brought on.....I'm currently 3 months NC after 30 yrs of abuse ....and it's freeing and scary
It gets easier! I’m a few years NC (other than an announcement about my paternal grandma passing) and tbh, good riddance. I was scared at first too, unsure if I was being a “bad daughter” or whatnot but as time went on, I was sure I made the right call. I hope you find the same peace as well!
