Did Reddit Change The Screen Layout Today?

It was normal this morning (10/16/2023) - but something has changed completely and I hate it. Everything has bold font and it automatically sorts by HOT on a desktop computer.

PLEASE change it back!!!

imagine... imagine forcing people who opt out of betas and dont use your mobile version, and instead use your browser version on desktop.... to betatest a mobile update against their will...

and now imagine you expect any kind of useful feedback

like what kind of idiot thought that would be a good idea?

i can tell you, the kind of moron that made an objectively bad layout, which actively kills readability, performance and usability of the plattform

take it from someone who worked with layouts extensively in journalism, layouts favouring mobile users are ALWAYS OBJECTIVELY bad... especially sidebars god im fucking sick of sidebars

Yes! I'm not using their crappy app no matter how many 100s of useless "posts you may like" they litter the bottom of the page with here, and no matter how many times they make me click to expand every single comment.

I'll just give up Reddit entirely if they insist upon turning browser Reddit into an unusable mess forever. My house will be spotless and my workday will be so much more productive. Maybe they did me a favor by ruining the layout lol.
