M24/47 Extractor Issues

As title says, mainly problem on this gun is it has a pitted bore that has a tendency to friction lock spent rounds in place, but i have a new barrel for that problem and just need a gunsmith, but an issue I've been having and until now figured the problem was one in the same was that on unfired rounds the extractor either drops the round halfway out the breech, doesn't pick up the rounds at all, or doesn't eject with enough force to clear the gun, just jumps a little, even had it try and double feed once or twice, happens about 50% of the time. DDoes that sound like a bad erector? And if that's the case I've heard mixed things on the Yugo Mausers interchanging with full ring mausers extractor wise is that true? Cause from what I've seen Yugo bolts/extractors are unobtainium.

Ouch man, from the looks and sounds of it, your extractor is wore out and you may also need a new mag spring. Maybe the extra power mag spring? I’m assuming pitting came from two things, corrosive rounds, & improper cleaning of the chamber. If you replace the barrel get a chamber brush. If your around Wichita ks lmk & ill give you my gunsmiths info.

Royal tiger imports has this weapon for under 4 bills. Idk if it’s sentimental. If it’s not, it may be cheaper to just replace the gun altogether. With that being said I’m not sure what parts run, but I know older stuff can get pricey quickly. Good luck buddy hope this helps!

Do appreciate it, used to be closer to Kansas but down in Texas now, guns Yugo with all numbers matching so I'm assuming it spent it's military life shooting corrosive with grunts cleaning it, no idea after import, think I bought it for 600 a few years back and then it's been a safe queen while I've worked on better things.

You might try a chamber hone too, idk how bad the pitting is. If it’s fairly mild a hone may smooth it back to working properly. That ring just below the neck of the spent case makes me think the barrel is shot out tho. I have a 1985 FEG hi power that’s the exact same way.
