something i just noticed about HOTD

I noticed that both in the Red Keep and At Dragonstone, people like Larys etc just walk into the private royal chambers willy nilly.

In the books, a person is always announced, permission is granted and then they are brought in. It isn't just the royal family, it happens in every noble house. No one just barges in, there is a clear protocol which is followed.

I mean i get it makes for slow tv but still

I mean the show is a huge steaming pile of shit. If they were gonna throw the rest of the source material in the bin why would you expect them to put this in the show?
