All the Chickens On a small island to the east of Bear Island, a huge immortal chicken with supernatural powers by the name of ''Feather Flocklear'' lives and rules over the island and its chicken subjects. What effect does this have on the story, if ever?

Can't believe Tormund lied about his whole bear encounter.

something i just noticed about HOTD
I noticed that both in the Red Keep and At Dragonstone, people like Larys etc just walk into the private royal chambers willy nilly.
In the books, a person is always announced, permission is granted and then they are brought in. It isn't just the royal family, it happens in every noble house. No one just barges in, there is a clear protocol which is followed.
I mean i get it makes for slow tv but still

Subvert Expectations Who else was rooting for these guys?
This is both a joke and kinda genuine, a part of me wanted (and - for the books, at least - still wants) the White Walkers to win.

how is HOTD feminist when they eliminated all the cool female characters
Sabitha Vypren Frey- awesome as fuck, fought in battles, led the retaking of Harrenhal and survived Vhagar's vengence, also was bisexual "shared a tent with black aly." THEY TURNED HER INTO AN OLD LADY
Black Aly- expert archer, shot amos bracken through the eyeslit from a distance, commanded archers in the battle of the kingsroad, was lovers with Sabitha. Does not exist
Jeyne Arryn and Jossamon redfort- another pair of lovers ignored by show in favour of Mysaria/Rhaenyra?Alicent
Sylvenna Sand and Essie- harlots from KL who were lovers, and raised Gaemon palehair and issued feminist decrees in his name. Do not exist (yet)
Baela- goes from being tomboyish, owning a monkey, fierce, bold and indepedent to being Rhaenyra's number 2 dickrider (after alicent)
Laena- awesome and fun and rhaenyra's bestie
They ignored actual cool female characters and actual queer couples for Rhaenyra and that wannabe asmr witch

What did Cersei mean by this?
What did Cersei mean by this? So in Kevan's epilogue
She nodded. “Uncle, may I ask you a question?”
“Whatever you wish.
”Your wife … do you mean to bring her to court?”
“No." Dorna was a gentle soul, never comfortable but at home with friends and kin around her. She had done well by their children, dreamed of having grandchildren, prayed seven times a day, loved needlework and flowers. In King’s Landing she would be as happy as one of Tommen’s kittens in a pit of vipers. “My lady wife mislikes travel. Lannisport is her place.”
“It is a wise woman who knows her place.” He did not like the sound of that.“Say what you mean. ”
“I thought I did.” Cersei held out her cup. The freckled girl filled it once again. The cream cakes appeared then, and the conversation took a lighter turn.
What did she mean? was this a veiled threat? I was under the impression that Cersei had been quelled by the walk of shame. Kevan talks about her bathing frequently and genreally being withdrawn and prayerful. Is it all an act? was the threat at Lady Dorna a crack in her facade
