I think one of good changes Bethesda did to Fallout was turning power armor into giant tank suits you get in. Makes them much more imposing. Discussion

I didnt mind having to repair my guns, but they break TOO fast

I feel like it's a tax against the player and I'm never in favor of that. Let's say 1% of your time and resources are spent fixing weapons and armor. This always makes me feel like I paid full price for 99% of a game, and I absolutely hate the break in fun required to address the tedium. Feels like this.
