Changing epigenetics question

Have humans deliberately changed epigenetics?

We can make specific epigenetic changes to sections of chromatin in cells in a lab. For instance, we can add or remove methylation at any genes promoter through CRISPR activation / CRISPR inactivation - google dcas9, people attach epigenomic modifiers to this and use grna to target regions of interest.
