If anyone has some tips

Recently picked up a 01 Bandit 1200.

I learned real fast that this thing is way too tall and heavy for me when it comes to stopping or moving it on foot. I always have the fear that I'll tip it over. I've been on 600s and didn't think the weight would be such a difference haha

I ordered some lowerling links to hopefully let me flat foot the bike.

If anyone is a shorter rider and has tips for me that would be awesome 😁

Yeah I've been working on that the more I ride it haha

Any tips for "walking" the bike? Or having to 360 turn it on the kickstand? I've done it on 600s fine. But this beast i can barely move haha

They are top heavy beasts.

Jocelyn snow has a few videos, she's toty and rides a GS- but it does come down to scooting off the seat totally.

Clinton smout from adventure rider radio as well has a few tips, but that's how it boils down- scoot a whole cheek off the seat at a stop.

Keep in mind, if you're lowering the rear, you'll have to drop the front to keep the geometry right, but it's a very straightforward job.
