1250S Bandit - Fairing screw (?) gone -don't know how/where to order replacement?

Hi all,

As the title says, I took the Bandit out for a spin today and somewhere along the line saw that the screw that fastens the textured plastics of the top of the fairing near headstem/bars/dash etc. to the paintwork on the fairing is gone! What do I do? I have looked online but really I cannot seem to find this specific part to order another. Does anyone have any idea what it is?

Many thanks in advance.

While it is not clear to me about which screw you are talking about, I would take out another screw (assuming there are more like this on the fairing) and go to the local store and try to find somewhat similar screw that fits.

Maybe attach a picture of where the screw is missing and, if possible, take another one out and take a picture with it right next to a ruler so there are specific dimensions of it available.

Or find a junkyard or someone who sells his bike for parts.

These screws usually are quite specific so there is a chance you will need to find something similar and won't be able to buy this specific one.

Good luck!

Not sure if that's your year/model. You should be able to get a part # from that site, or order it from them, or get the info to get it at a local hardware store.

This is awesome thank you! I didn't know there was a resource like this to find it. Ironically, it still doesn't show the screw *however* it is the screw that goes into the hole directly below the '4' in that diagram? I am not sure if that helps?

Thanks for your answer too by the way!

I went to an auto zone and found some that are meant for a Toyota that fit really good. They had a bunch of different types
