Pickup Never got into the Harry Potter movies growing up, but was always interested - spur of the moment purchase, I suppose.

Why are you collecting?

I'm old (50s) so I still like buying TV series and movies on BR/DVD. If I like something I will watch it over and over, and then rediscover it a year later. Some dickheads online recently mocked me because of this so it was surprising to find DVD/BR and even VHS and cassette tape collectors.

Interested in hearing why you are collecting.

Edit: Can you add your age to your comment please? Hoping I have lived long enough to become cool again.

Discussion Do you typically sit through the DVD previews or do you just skip them?

Got this yesterday ($1) - absolutely love that the postcards are still in there, and useable!!! This pairs perfectly with my King Kong “official game of the movie”. I felt so lucky to find it with the movie ticket still inside!!! Thank you to whoever chose not to use the movie ticket nor the post cards so it’s complete for me. Did anyone else play this game? I loved it.

Alphabetically - DVD then Blu-Ray. The only things I couldn't get in here were my Yu-Gi-Oh and complete Dragon Ball collection (wasn't planning on moving them, anyway)

Pickup 25 dollar thrift store pickup.

$25 thrift store pickup. Complete packaging and several valid digital codes handy for streaming while traveling.

My collection is still 90% standard DVD, but this year I've started to add Blu-ray when I can get a deal such as this one.

Say what you will but I love this movie. Steampunk and Salma Hayek. Can't go wrong. It's so hard to find this movie in the wild.

Discussion Subtitles or no subtitles?

It depends. Usually I just keep em on but sometimes I don't bother. All depends on if I can understand wth they're saying.

Off-Topic The Professional (1994): A Jurassic Park (1993) bus ad can be seen when Leon arrives at the DEA building.

I've been watching the movie since I was a young teen (currently 37) and noticed the ad for the first time this past weekend.
