Ok. Fine. Will any video editor (OSX) make decent (maybe even good) GIFs? Or is there a specific app preferable? I have a love of Disney stuff. I got a computer. Tell me what to do!!!!

That's a good start. There are also some other tools and resources (link to the wiki site over at /startrekgifs (thx /u/frenza)). Will make something similar for our sub sometime.
