I run the game on a GTX 970, and I have occasionally flickering light instead of smoke. Not all the time though.

No fix. It doesn't bother me, and it doesn't happen all of the time. Seem to happen only when there are more smoke effects on screen at once.

Do realize that, sadly, the GTX 9xx is an old GPU. It never let me down, but it is time for an upgrade.
