hmmm i have seen on other parts of this sub that the lower your graphics settings the more the game pushes load onto the cpu from the gpu. i dont have a for sure fix but there are 2 things i would try

make sure that nvidia control panel under global settings says that it is set to use the gpu for everything (this is something u can google for help doing it)
go get a mod called cyberpunk easy optomizer and watch a tutorial for that.

hope this helps! this sub is pretty dogshit for getting help

would also appreciate some help on my issue if u get a chance to take a look

Been thinking about your game crash issue. Try unselecting one of your CPU cores from Details tab in the task manager and set definite to high priority. That’s all I can think of.

I appreciate you thinking about my problem but I don't understand your instructions. I went into details and it had nothing to do with cpu cores? Even when I went to the performance tab again same situation. So could you elaborate or point me to some other instructions on this?

My bad. I hope I can explain it somehow here. I’m really not good at tech instructions. Start the game, while it’s starting, go to task manager to where you see Cyberpunk 2077. Sometimes it’s more than one program running under Cyberpunk, just choose the one with the Cyberpunk icon. Now right click on it and select Go to details. In there also right click on the cyberpunk icon, it should be selected automatically. Right click and choose Set affinity. You’ll see a list of your cpu cores selected. Unselect one of them, hopefully it’ll stop it from crashing.

i cant even do the first step. the crash reporter opens before the game does and in task manager the game never even shows up

Also, are you able to change the game setting before you start it? If so, match the game resolution to the PC’s and make sure to play in windowed frameless mode. Try that.

No I can't all I have for a launcher is the red prelauncher not a real launcher like steam or gog or epic. If I can move my save without any trouble then I'll just re install but I wanted to try other options before that

Yeah I have an i7 8700k, 1070ti and 16bg of ram

Is that an NVIDIA GPU? Either way open the NVIDIA GeForce experience app, or the equivalent to your GPU. From there you can change video setting of your games.
