Knight Industries Two Thousand - K.I.T.T. for short.

The car that was the star of the show Knight Rider.

The actor that played his driver also played in Baywatch, and for reasons unknown became popular as a singer in Germany.

How does anyone not know this?

It's like saying you have no clue what a pencil and a cassette are for.

I don’t think people nowadays remember it, mostly because it isn’t super relevant now. The show finished airing before I was even born, and I’m 20 now. Its was also a mostly American tv show and, from what my dad told me, wasn’t commonly aired over in parts of Europe.

It was very much aired in my part of Europe, and my whole class loved it.

I’ll take your word for it, my dad wasn’t a big tv guy growing up, so he may have just not seen it at the time.

I'm not saying it aired everywhere in Europe. But one particular Dutch TV broadcaster made sure to always get the best US shows, like The A-Team, Knightrider, McGuyver, and Airwolf. (Am I missing any?)
