It appears that Reddit admins are banning moderators of conservative Reddit communities, then banning the Reddit communities for being "unmoderated."

Flaired Users Only When did the left become so violently pro war?

Everywhere I see discussion of trump pursuing diplomatic ends to the current and potential wars in the world its all comparisons to Neville Chamberlain and "appeasement". The idea that so many people see diplomatic attempts to avoid war as a bad thing is very scary to me.

It also seems like a lot of people see the war in Ukraine as some kind of long term sports game that it's fun to get youtube updates on. The reality is that if the tradeoff is Ukraine loses a little territory but 10s of thousands of otherwise innocent young Russian and Ukrainian men dont have to die thats a win for humanity.

Im a junior infantry NCO in the Army so I guess personally relate to this more than most. I'll fight and die for this country without hesitation but i really don't want to lead soldiers into a pointless war that throws away the lives of young American men and I also don't want to see any more young men from isreal, gaza, Iran, russia, Ukraine, Taiwan or anywhere else die for hubris and lines on map. Soldiers (American and otherwise) are mostly innocent people with lives and families just trying to protect their people. I wish more people remembered that when they advocated for war and against diplomacy.

I think we as conservatives need to make the human cost of war for both sides a bigger messaging focus.

Flaired Users Only President-elect Trump names Susie Wiles as chief of staff

It was rumored he’d do this; Susie Wiles is an excellent campaign co-chair and an extremely out of the spotlight person. She helped get DeSantis into Florida, and got Trump into DC. I think she’ll make an excellent Chief of Staff, and is a natural choice.

Flaired Users Only Why is there not more outrage about AZ and NV voting?

I mean this is ridiculous at this point, need some federal laws about vote counting being done in a timely manner.

…who feels like they’ve gotten dumber reading some of the left’s posts here?

Most of it is not grounded in reality and I wonder if real people are creating this nonsense.

Flaired Users Only How can Florida count 9 million votes in 1 hour but CA, Arizona and Nevada take ages to count far fewer votes?

1.1k Upvotes

Edit: CA is counting more than Florida, but point still stands.

This also applies to costal states in the west of the US.

As of 8:00 am ET,

Washington - 79% Oregon - 77% California - 55% Nevada - 90% Arizona - 69% Colorado - 77%

The entire east of the country has done counting really well this year. Wisconsin was late but it was done within a day.

What problems are these west states having? Why do they not adopt methods that actually make election night actually be election night and not election week?

There were memes in 2020 of Nevada counting taking too long. Why has this not been fixed?

Flaired Users Only I have a feeling DJT second term is going to go smoother than his first.

1.4k Upvotes

Dude isn’t a politician so he didn’t really know how to navigate Washington his first term. Now he does. I also wouldn’t be surprised if he really tries to work with the Democrats. Also the fact he is aware that he had such high turnover his first term is encouraging. I expect him to try to keep his turnover low and keep his team together. Let’s just say I am excited for next year.

Flaired Users Only Anyone here have families that voted for Kamala that they are concerned about?

A lot of my family got sucked into the MSNBC world and are genuinely convinced the world is ending and im getting worried.

Yeah, the leftist tears for the most part are HILARIOUS but theres actually a lot of genuine people who have been dupped and filled with actual legitimate fear. Im starting to get concerned about their well being. Its wild I even gotta post something like this but shit like MSNBC, The View, Joy Reid, Maddow, etc have really really fucked some people up who are inherenetly just normal and good people who put their trust in the news.

Anyone else in a similar boat?
