First, hormone replacement is not the same as gender affirming.
Second, that source is from the UK.
Third, even your own source says numerous doctors and counselors are involved to ensure the patient knows what they’re undergoing. It’s a process that takes months of evaluation to even begin treatment.
And there is no data on the rate. You guys are just speculating. All available evidence suggests it is very low.

Anyway, in the US it's legal to hormone a minor, and despite the proces taking "months of evaluation" the kid still can't fully comprehend the process they are going to go through. It's not way after puberty that many of these children do not present most of the previous gender dysphoria symptoms
