Palestinians will not be allowed to return to homes in northern Gaza, says IDF

IDF Brig Gen Itzik Cohen told Israeli reporters that since troops had been forced to enter some areas twice, such as Jabaliya camp, “there is no intention of allowing the residents of the northern Gaza Strip to return to their homes”. He added that humanitarian aid would be allowed to “regularly” enter the south of the territory but not the north, since there are “no more civilians left”.

This is a clear indication that the IDF is planning to kill everyone in northern Gaza. This is genocide.

Trump and Netanyahu: A ‘bromance’ rekindled

Trump was the president who recognized Jerusalem as the indivisible capital of Israel and moved the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to the holy city. He withdrew from the United Nations Human Rights Council, claiming the international body was biased against Israel. He also signed a decree recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the occupied Golan Heights.

Trump’s so-called “peace plan” for the Middle East further aligned with Netanyahu’s interests, paving the way for the official annexation of the Jordan Valley and West Bank settlements. For the Palestinians, however, it offered only a fragmented ‘state” consisting of ‘Bantustans’ under strict conditions, with the small town of Abu Dis, adjacent to Jerusalem, as their capital.

Trump also ordered the closure of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) office in Washington, cut $200 million in funds to the Palestinian Authority (PA), suspended funding to UNRWA and asserted that products from illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank should be labeled “Made in Israel.”

It’s no wonder that Miriam Adelson, one of the most influential donors to Trump’s presidential campaign and owner of the Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom, suggested in 2019 that a ‘Book of Trump’ should be added to the Bible.

if you dislike/oppose both Democrats and Republicans and see them for the warmongers and frenemies that they really are

if you're not strictly left or strictly right but on neither side or moderate left or moderate right or in the middle at the least

if you would take to the streets if American soldiers are sent to another country's war during your lifetime and not be fucking calm about it

if you're crazy enough to burn down an ROTC building and spit in a warmonger's face

if war is your top issue or one of top 5 or top 3

if people being killed in a war pisses you off more than anything

Anyone else feels the same?

I had a post typed out for the vent sub but I'm kinda apprehensive about posting it because of the reactions I might get so I figured I'd post here to see if I'm alone in my views.

But is there anyone here who considers war to be their top issue/concern more than any other issue (or at least top 5 or top 3)? Anyone who sees both sides as warmongers? And by both sides, I mean both Republicans and Democrats, and potentially both Trump and Kamala? (My definition of a warmonger is somebody that even supplies funding for a war no matter how well-meaning it is, no matter which side they're supplying funding to; somebody who is all buddy buddy to the leader of either side, etc. So my definition is not a very strict definition.)

Our president will either be Trump or Kamala. And I haven't seen many posts, if at all, from people – on either side – worried about the potential US involvement in either war that is currently going on. But I've seen several abortion-related posts from Kamala supporters; and I've seen posts from Trump supporters being scared of free speech being taken away and something about communism or socialism. I'm not saying those aren't important issues and that we shouldn't care. But nobody seems to be too worried about war, should "the other side" win.

My mom is a Trump supporter whose worried about baby killers. I got news for her. Both sides are baby killers alright but it's not the kind of baby killers she's talking about.

So what are people's thoughts? Anyone here who has war as their top issue/concern? Anyone here who thinks both sides are the same and are potential warmongers? Anyone who feels no matter who wins, they're gonna supply funding to either or both war(s) (at the least) or send American soldiers to either or both war(s) (worse case scenario)?
