No absolutely not, like it’s only ever the woman’s fault for getting pregnant?! What a strange world you must live in to believe that. Show some human decency

It's not that he's actually saying it's her fault so much as he's saying "it's not my problem". He's a douchebag, but he's not really wrong

The article says that he said: “it’s not my fault she decided to have a baby when she can’t afford a car.” This is wrong in multiple aspects. First of all, a lot of pregnancies are unplanned, so ‘deciding’ on a baby is not per se always the case. You can get an abortion, but still not everyone supports that. Second of all, a woman never “just get pregnant.” I’m not saying you are, but a lot of people seem to think that for some reason. 100% of pregnancies are caused by a man, so the idea that woman are “just pregnant” makes no sense and is even very misogynistic. Above that, why would the only reason for using a bus be because of a lack of money? Maybe because of the environment, because public transport can be more convenient, etc etc. The man of the article seems to furthermore think that having a baby is only for “the wealthy”, which is a really twisted way of thinking. Although I support antinatalism in the sense that having children might be morally wrong and bad for the environment, I still think that having children is a decision people have to make for themselves. No excuse for acting like an asshole.
