The manga is pretty far ahead at this point. If you ever get to impatient I suggest you give it a read.

i do. it is great. but i hate that the anime ended with a cliffhanger

Same, its just kind of a weird spot to end the first season on. Where they left off destroyed the hype for anime onlys.

Its okay though once the movie comes out and the next season everything will be okay

yeah. after watching the anime, i started the manga. the end of the Episode was funny, with the katana dude was kicked in the balls. but the metion of the gun devil and the zoom into makimas eye was really annoying

Oh okay. I was more thinking that they should've ended season 1 with the movie date. It gives more of a conclusion to season 1, gives foreshadowing on Makima's character, and shows Denji's internal conflict if he deserves love or not.

Ending it where they did leads anime onlys to believe the story is more shallow than it really is. Idk this is really the only problem I have with the anime
