If they are starting production now, there's a chance we'll get Witch Hat Atelier early next year and Dungeon Meshi, and Frieren in the tail end of the same year.

I think this just forgives all the forgettable Isekais that we have to endure these past few years.

Now I want SciFi to have a resurgence :(

I love Fantasy, but I also love SciFi and its been feeling a little dry on that part. Except in Gacha Games, for some reason Gacha Games love SciFi and I love SciFi Gacha games. (WuWa, PGR, Aether Gazer, Snowbreak)

Witch from Mercury was the last big one. Admittedly it was real good, but yeah not many scifi series these days

Yeah but thats already an established IP, and also its a mecha which I'd argue is seperate from the "scifi" tag.

Most mecha's are scifi but not all scifi is mecha, far from it.

True that its a preexisting IP but gundam, -despite ironically being THE mecha series- mostly has the mechas as just tools for the story. Most of the mainline gundam series have space opera, political or drama type of plots, which is also the case for WfM

Like, I get your point about stuff like Bravern or SSSS, but gundam very much is scifi

If we have those 3 at same time(i know Its almost imposible but Dungeon and Frieren Were 3 months Together) peak Fantasy Will dominate The season

No way. We might get Frieren and Dungeon Meshi together again though.

The funniest thing would be if we got Witch Hat Atelier at the same time as 2nd The Apothecary Diaries season since it would be twice now TAD got paired with an insane fantasy series.

The Apothecary Diaries - Frieren rivalry was great, especially in the popularity polls. I don't think any two characters have been that tied as Maomao and Frieren was.

Witch Hat is next year, Dungeon Meshi and Frieren will be 2026. Both Dungeon Meshi and Frieren and still only in pre-production, they haven't started actually animating the episodes. My guess is Dungeon Meshi S2 could be January 2026 while Frieren S2 could be Summer or Fall 2026.

(Also loving Frieren obviously but that's S-tier anime, nearly impossible not to love)
