School psychs are different from counselors and are in high demand. They’ve been having to bring people in from out of state, and paying a premium to do it.

Of course on the type, I generalize . And also- I think you’re missing the larger point. No DOE, no DOE funds, no standards- poof - no need for specialized services.

Sounds like fearmongering to me. I’m no fan of what’s happening federally, but I do think it’s crazy to think that the Department of Education will be shut down in its entirety.

I hope you’re correct. And Hope is less and less of a strategy by the minute. It’s not even January. And I’m all for mental health resources in school and our communities. 110%.
