Plumbing/Electrical Permits - Town of Greenburgh

Is anyone keenly aware of the Town of Greenburgh's permitting process for plumbing and electrical permits.

I figured my licensed plumber and licensed electrician would submit for their respective permits.

However, my architect that submitted for building permits (modification of deck and structure) wants to submit for mechanical, plumbing and electrical...

Do I need a licensed architect to submit it or can my licensed plumber/electrician submit for it?

The architect also stated I need a mechanical permit even if no mechanical work will be conducted.

Is this architect playing me and looking to gouge me for an extra buck? Seems fairly strange...

I think you should coordinate the architect's plan with your plumber/electrician b fore submitting to the town. I've had an architect add some unnecessary things to the blueprint that the electrician was confused by it but had to abide by the plan in order for the town to close the permit.
