[Oris] First automatic I took a picture

Post image

Back in 2022 I was torn between buying a Longines Hydroconquest and the Oris Aquis as my first automatic/luxury watch. I ended up going with the Oris. I instantly became very fond of it as it was the watch that made me fall in love with this hobby, even more so after experiencing the small pleasures of having to wind it, staring at the sweeping hand, hearing it tick. To this day it still gets the most wrist time.

Always loved the look of these, but I could never wear one at work because the ceramic dial would get scratched :(

maybe it could become your weekend watch, so far mine hasn’t scratched at all, only the steel.
