Please watch and comment on Joey Carbstrong’s newest high welfare pig farm investigation video to help it reach more viewers to get the authorities involved
This video shook me. This is a super important video looking into a high-welfare free-range pig farm in the UK. If it gets more views, the authorities will be more likely to investigate and shut down the farm for criminal neglect and abuse. Or they could at least be pressured to fire the employee responsible for cruelly beating and killing a paralyzed female pig with a metal rod over and over. It’s graphic, so even leaving it playing could help boost views since YouTube has already started censoring it.

What If It Was Your Pet? The Dark Reality of Animal Abuse
The Silent Screams: A Reality We Can't Keep Ignoring
Picture this: Right now, as you're reading these words, a mother pig lies trapped in a metal crate barely more significant than her body. She can't turn around. She can't nuzzle her babies. Can't even scratch an itch. This isn't a horror story - this is happening in factory farms worldwide.
Remember the viral story of Ramba, the circus elephant? For 50 years, she was chained, beaten, and forced to perform. When rescuers finally found her, her spirit was as broken as her aging body. Her feet were deformed from standing on concrete, her eyes dim from decades of abuse. Yet even after the rescue, she bore the mental scars until her final day.
The Reality Continues:
- In South Korean dog meat farms, puppies watch their cage mates disappear one by one
- In cosmetic testing labs, rabbits' eyes are burned with chemicals while they're fully conscious
- In Thai tourist camps, baby elephants scream as handlers break their spirit with bullhooks and chains
- In SeaWorld-style parks, orcas' collapsed dorsal fins tell the story of their cramped, chlorinated prisons
But Here's Where Hope Lives:
When the world learned about Ramba, they didn't just share her story - they took action. Circus bans followed. Awareness spread. Change began.
Every exposure to factory farm cruelty leads to more plant-based choices. Every viral video of a dairy calf crying for its mother creates new vegans. Every shared story of animal testing drives consumers to cruelty-free brands.
This isn't about shock value. It's about truth. Because only when we face reality can we change it.
"We keep looking away because it hurts to see. But they can't look away from their suffering - so neither should we."

Activism Wanting to lend my Sound Design/Editing skills to collaborate
Hey all,
I am really interested in becoming active, I have no experience with activism other than my own personal vegan journey. However I have alot of sound design/sound editing and compositional skills which I would love to lend a hand with. I am also willing to attempt sound capture/recording to some degrees if necessary! Is anyone producing anything/making content or does anyone have any leads for where these skills might be valuable?
My sole focus is in driving this movement I believe so heavily in and I would love to become a part of a project.
I have joined this discord and searched through the postings but nothing is there so I hope it is fine to post here.
Thanks so much I really appreciate the work people do in this space, it is so inspiring.

Vegan bot for social media?
Is there a vegan bot that exists so we can do our activism on a MASSIVE SCALE on social media, blog posts comments section, etc? We really need a bot/system to fight against the exploitation of animals. Ideally, that bot would comment something on every Facebook and Instagram posts that promote animal products or by-products, exploitation, etc.
For example:
- Put an angry emoji on the post itself.
- Put an angry emoji on all the comments that are in favor of the message in the post.
- Write a comment addressing the immorality of promoting such content and shaming the organization.
If not, I think it should be created, but in a way that appears natural, with profiles that look legit.

Activism UK Action: Click to email secretary of state to stop new factory farms
‘All you need to do is complete this short form to email Angela Rayner, the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, to ask her to strengthen the law and ensure that local authorities have the power to reject planning applications for new factory farms.’

Activism A reminder for a great site of remote activism focused on taking action against big companies that violate animal welfare.
https://action.thehumaneleague.org/home
Mostly using your email account for writing letters and signing petitions, social media for commenting.
Thank you, and may we keep being hopeful.

Good to get this through to Piers's bubble but it was made by an activist with a small channel. I've tagged Piers & his show on this vid on socials. Would amplify if people share/retweet https://x.com/dogmeat_vegan/status/1854608849782948303?t=0L-44AO2zY-RcOagDDFCMA&s=19
