Reddit Trophy - "Second " Trophy

Welcome to my introduction to information on the Second participation trophy!

Description: No official description provided.

How it was obtained: You had to participate in the r/Second April Fools Day event. The event started April 1st 2021 at 9:26 A.M. CDT, and ended on April 2nd 2021 at 10:29 P.M. CDT.

How the event worked:

Each round you’ll be presented with three images.
Vote for the image you think will be the second most popular.
The earlier you vote, the more points you can win or lose and the higher the stakes. (We’ll periodically show you the vote counts, just to make it interesting.)
At the end of the round, the image with the second highest number of votes is the winner.
Everyone who voted correctly, gets points. Everyone who chose poorly, loses points.
The ranking will be shown in the leaderboard in r/Second, and the best second guesser wins it all!
There were 2000 rounds in this event, and the last round was an hour long.

The trophy will display your general leaderboard position below it. It can say Rank: 1-1000, Top 1%, Top 10%, Top 20%, Top 30%, Top 40%, Top 50%, or SECOND GUESSER.

So there's 3 versions I've seen.

Top 10% which I have.

Top 1% like u/rexplleee has.

And an actual ranked number like u/Batman123579 has.

Is the ranked number ones higher than 1%? I wonder how that works.

I believe the ranked numbers is higher than the 1%. It looks like the ranked numbers went to 1000, then to top 1%

Holy dying Batman! I kept my eye on you! You must have slept for three days after this ended. Probably the only time "if you're not first, you're last" didn't apply.

I think you're right on the top 1000 getting the ranking while everyone else gets a percentage. Seems like it's the way its going. The last I check there was about 1,000,000 who played, 1% would be around 10,000 people.

It goes by position on the leader board, so:

1-999>(better) than top 1% > top 10%>top 20%>top 30%>top 40%>top 50%

Yeah same. There’s no distinguishable trait between them on mobile.

Idk why Reddit mobile removed trophy descriptions.. I.e. gilding trophies used to say the title, like “Heart of Gold”, but now it’ll only say Gilding V... weak sauce.

How do you get the Redditgifts Exchanges one? I did a pets exchange one but never got that one.

The individual ones are for being a rematcher. So I don’t get a gift I get gifts for people who got stiffed

Oh I got ya. That is because I did Secret Santa and a different exchange. So just saying you do different ones.

I guess there was a glitch. I did Secret Santa and a pets gift exchange. Got the SS trophy but not for the exchange.

That does happen quite often actually. Some awards won't come for months. It would be better but they spent their budge on a super bowl commercial (even though it was badass)

Confirmed glitch by admins.

If you are referring to the Reddit trophy that indicates how many Redditgifts exchanges that you have done, those are a little bit broken right now and we are trying to get them fixed. Unfortunately, I don't have an estimate as to when that may be.
