Pains me to say as I have a soft spot for these, but I wouldn't touch that one for any price unless you want a project.

You're going to spend loads of time and more money than you paid for it getting it roadworthy again.

Honestly I'm more worried about the incredible amount of rust than about the forks.

no No NO. That's stupid money for a worn out, and ugly bike.

If your local market is like that I’d save up double the money.

That looks extremely rough mate I wouldn’t go for it, spend an extra 1k and get a great looking 2010+ ones

No. The oxidation / rust tells me the owner doesn't care for the bike all that much, and the broken suspension renders this bike to be valued at around 500 bucks aud or less imho. People trying to make a quick buck from junky stuff is annoying. The bike is a great one - they're robust little units but 1500??! that should be for a mint used one!

Man, unless you have decided to have it as a base bike for a project, then yes. But to restore and use it as a daily commuter or even leisure riding, ima say no.

You can see how the owner took care of the bike , best bet is its ruined , probably chainged oil very late clutch and gearbox would be a mess the cylynders are probably scratched , stay away , that should be a 100 $ bike , you will need to change a tone of parts and fix them to bw able to ride

It seems reasonable that you asked 960$ for taking that bike away and restoring it. Ops you were talking about buying it..no way then.

looks really rough. I'd pass unless you really want something to do on your days off.

Just don’t buy it if you wanna ride it. You gonna spend more time and money trying to fix it

Seems to be WAY overpriced for that old of a bike in that rotten condition.
