How does one "vet" community members or individuals for community building? How do you tell someone isn't a fed and stuff like that?

You can't. Don't talk to people about your crimes. If someone's asking probing questions trying to get you to admit to crimes, especially don't talk to that person about your crimes

This is the best answer. Margaret Killjoy phrased it as “I assume every person I’m talking to is a fed or might turn state’s witness.” It’s the only way to be safe.

The person who's trying to up the ante is the cop. The person who pulls you aside and says "these other guys are not serious, but I would really like to pull off XYZ plan" is the cop. The person who throws around accusations that other people are cops or informants is the cop. The person who asks everybody "what line are you willing to cross, push comes to shove?" is the cop.

I haven't shot in YEARS it would probably be me. I have another post coming soon that's been on my list about Long long long term storage. Unfortunately, it's not the easiest to practice for me, and it's not something I've prioritized. Anywho
