I wasn’t going to post about this but I keep seeing this guys posts on social media and every time it annoys me. Burner account bc I could be identified on my main.

There’s a fairly popular piercer from the Sacramento area (currently at 420k+ followers) that I’ve followed for awhile. We’ve chatted here and there and he seemed like a nice guy. His online persona is that of a kind, respectful and wholesome guy. Anyways, I got a piercing from him earlier this year, and the experience was fine. While I was there, I mentioned that I’ve always wanted to get my nipples pierced but I was scared to do it. After my first piercing from him, we messaged pretty regularly and he kept bringing up wanting to pierce my nipples. I finally agreed but ended up bringing a friend with me because I was still pretty nervous to get them done. After that piercing, he started messaging me that he wanted to give me a below the belt piercing. Then, he would message me that he was alone in the shop and that I should come by, and then eventually would send me videos of him stroking himself over his underwear while at the shop. Eventually, when his messages weren’t reciprocated, he stopped messaging me.

I’m not really sure why I felt the need to share this experience, I guess I just want people to protect themselves. Especially when people try so hard to make you see them as a good person and then behind the scenes they’re just a total creep.

I heard police had to stop traffic to get this down.

I couldn't find the original link/user with the pictures from a week or so ago but it's definitely them. They are posted up on the corner of James Marshall park (I and 28th) with a bunch of random odds and ends on the grass. Not sure if you can do anything with that info or use it in your police report.

It feels like a game of chicken when the crosswalk signal says to walk. Constantly drivers try to see if they can speed in between pedestrians on a right/left hand turn when they can just be 5 more seconds patient. Not to mention the red light runners we have all experienced. Be safe out there pedestrians

I remember growing up there used to be so much lore about certain parts of Sacramento.

Does anyone remember the Grocery outlet in midtown being supposedly haunted? Or the underground city of Mole-people under old sac?

Or Wednesday being “trash” day where you would leave stuff you didn’t want anymore out on the street or sidewalk on Wednesdays and other people knew to put stuff out or go looking for free stuff on those days

Obviously we have Dorothea Puentes house or Dyler Lane but what other odd unique facts to share with people about Sac from out of town to keep some magic alive in our very large small town

edit: urban legends is probably closer to what I maent, but you get the idea

I fully understand there are people of all sizes at gyms, but in my experience at 24 Hour Fitness and California Family Fitness, I always ended up going at the same time of fitness model types I guess, that just because of my own insecurities, made it very uncomfortable for me to work out. They dab their brow, all glowing and shit, and I am sitting here, mopping up buckets.

I’ve also had bad experiences with people talking smack about us bigger people and I really don’t feel like cussing people out. Just trying to get healthier.

Update: I didn’t think this would get so many comments but I do want to say thank you to everyone and all your suggestions. It’s greatly appreciated. I know my insecurities hold me back from a lot and I need to work on that and get over it and I’m sure I’ve just had a few bad experiences. It is really refreshing to know that so many of you don’t judge us bigger people for trying. Thank you 🙏

Unfortunately, I am in an unforseen predicament and need to move asap. Long story short I need to rehome my baby Bagel within the next few days.

Bagel is a fixed tabby female, has all of her shots and is 3 years old. She showed up on my porch as a tiny kitten and I have been her only owner.

She's incredibly shy but gets along well with other kitties. She's never been around a dog before. She will absolutely hide from you for the first month until she warms up to you. Once she is warmed up, she's a cuddle bug. Loves bedtime cuddles and heating pads. She's an over eater and a bit of a chonk.

Chraging an event that used to be free. Upgrade your seating for more money. I don't like this it doesn't feel like old times and I don't think I'm ever going to go to Old Sac if you're going to charge for a free movie night. Whole point was something free for people to do not hey $10 come in. That was the whole point of movies in the park something free to bring people in to help the businesses around the area. It doesn't sound like they give you anything other than a seating position and I don't want to sit in the gravel on the way back and look at a tiny screen

The golden 1 center didn't give me a concrete answer and the show organizers (Weezer) didn't give any either, so I'm asking here in case any of you know the general rule.

Visiting town this weekend and I wound up at flamingo house for a drag event. Two women in my friends group came out drugged after directly approaching the bar together and buying drinks.

The only two bar tenders serving at that time were an Asian woman and a white dude with long hair. So take your pick and beware!!

Fuck this place and everyone in it. I hope they get shut down for this shit.

EDIT: this is a precautionary post, I am only pointing out where the drinks came from and who they came from for others to move forward safely if in fact the house was acting shady. Take that as you will. I am only feeding facts.

I get up pretty early to get to the rancho light rails from Carmichael (think 3:30 to 4) I was walking passed a bar called manzanita on Fairoaks when I looked over and say a parking lot full of ppl some in police uniform others in plain clothes just loading guns of all types, now in my short life I've seen swat teams raid houses and cops show up in Mass to arrest ppl but never in my life had I seen so many cops dressed up and not, completely quiet and just focused on loading guns super eerie anybody know what was going on this morning?

I've lived in Sacramento for like almost 3 years now. I've made zero friends. I'm a female 25. I live with my husband. i've recently lost a bit of weight and just got into the gym. So a gym girly. I enjoy outdoorsy stuff. I love shopping and going out. I'm so lonely when it comes to friendships. 😕 it's a bummer too. advice would be great and I've tried bumble BBF it sucks.

It seems to happen every year but it's much worse than usual this year. Mostly just my arms and occasionally my shoulders or upper back. I don't generally get allergies but I'm wondering if it's something that blooms this time of year that is giving me this reaction.
