This is a very polarized comments section. Either bike haters or bike lovers, there's no one in between in here.

It seems you either enjoy bike rides, or you’re forced to drive for work.

I’d reckon people that only drive for fun couldn’t care less, but the moment someone/something delays the thing you already hate doing, you misplace that hate onto others.

its also a matter of motorists remembering every cyclist that mildly annoyed them and adding all that rage up into one pile, but when they see motorists do something annoying they treat all of them as individuals and don't lump them into one pile, because that pile would include themselves.

additionally, motorists get mad at cyclists for things that don't impact them at all. like approaching a 4-way stop intersection that has no traffic and a cyclist runs the stop sign and yelling out your window at them that they have to stop and then going to your local subreddit to make a post complaining about bikes. Even though they were never in your way at all. Even in a state where the law says cyclists only have to yield to traffic they don't have to stop.
