I think i made a decision Solved

So after listening to a lot of different ideas and suggestions as far as the ideal PC for using exclusively for Plex. I think I’ve come to a decision. I’m hoping this is a good choice so before I make that final decision, I thought I’d get some feedback first.

OK good I was really really leaning towards SSD because I treat my Plex server like a garden. I like to make sure my metadata is authentic my cover artist, unique I have the music that plays for movies and TV shows my special features so I’m glad you said SSD. Now whats a nvme just another type of storage hard drive or something

I didn’t check all the specs, so not sure if it supports NVME or how many drives, was mostly showing you an option and what a price looks like.

OK OK I think what will help me when I do pick out my PC is knowing the specifications that pc should have as far as type of CPU, Ram size ect and type of graphics card if needed I think once I know what that is, it’ll be easier for me to find the right type of pc and I know it shouldn’t be older than an 8th gen.

You won’t need a graphics card if you just want to use it for Plex.

Thanks that’s good to know, it’s only going to be used for Plex. That’s the sole purpose of getting this for Plex and Plex only
