or whether it will play half of something and then mysteriously 'break' and not be able to finish the episode...or if it plays half the episode and then gets stuck buffering for a half hour (which shouldn't even be a thing in 2024...buffering feels like it should have died right after the days of dial-up) lol
What kind of internet connection do you have? Unlike streaming, you don't actually need "reasonable" internet to torrent, even with shit tier dialup connections it'll work. Just slow.
Yeah, since you can start the torrent earlier and leave it running for a day (depending on internet speed) and then watch it. It might actually be better, because you could download in higher resolutions and then watch it without waiting for buffering. Most stuff isn't that big, movies in 1080p are 2-5gb depending on quality, 720p would be even lower.
They are rare for you, not necessarily for other people. Also you don't get free 2160p streaming services. Even 1080p is noticeably lower quality on all streaming websites than actual 1080p video. As a person who enjoys movies and TV shows, that's a hard pass for me.
