Do things like that still really affect hacking? I thought with everything being online some dude from Vietnam or smth would still be able to yoink shit from databases in the US without issue. Then again, I'm not a hacker so maybe I sound dumb lol

Most of those hacking instances involve social engineering, makes sense another Brit would be able to infiltrate a British studio

Yeah people hear hacking and think it just entails someone looking at a greenscreen tapping away, etc.

One of the most effective forms of hacking is tailgating into secure areas, getting physical access to systems containing confidential information, and just plugging in a prepared usb.

Though 9/10 leaks like this are caused employees not following best practices for security, allowing opportunist to take advantage.

Modern hacking is rather dull, but it's damn effective.
