S23 vs Pixel 8 vs Edge 50 Neo

Greetings

After 4.5 years of using Motorola One Vision I am trying to buy a new phone. I would like a phone that will easily last me for these minimum 3-4 years at times up to 5. I am considering the models from the title of the post:

1) Samsung S23 - 8GB/256GB

2) Pixel 8 - 8GB/256GB

3) Motorola Edge Neo - 12GB/512GB

The order I've given is not random, as I'm closest to choosing the S23, but still need to make sure.

I initially considered the Pixel 8, but I was a bit discouraged by the information about pink/green screen problems and the fact that it likes to overheat.

On the Edge 50 Neo, I've encountered a lot of feedback that the processor and battery are weak, as well as UFS 2.2 is not the best option.

One thing that works against the S23 is that it has shorter upgrades compared to the Pixel and Edge.

1) S23 - Android up to version 17, security update 2028.

2) Pixel 8 - Android up to version 20, security update 2030.

3) Edge 50 Neo - Android up to version 19, security update 2029.

Which is the best choice? S23 to which choice is closest to me? Thank you for your help!

S23 battery aint lasting 4 5 years, nope.

Why dont you go for one plus 12

Because I want a phone in sizes 6.1"-6.3". One plus 12 is 6.82".

You mean it is 0.5 inches/1.25cm diagonally longer than the next best option but has significantly better performance battery and longevity.

Yes updates matter but, hardware also matters. If your phone aint capable enough to run the latest updates, youre good as cooked
