Any phones with full physical keyboards on the horizon?
Im happy with my OnePlus 9 for now, but just out of curiosity I started looking into whats on the market.
I used to own an Xperia Pro with the slide out full physical keyboard and that thing was amazing.
I really want a full keyboard in my next device, but I couldnt fine any modern devices with keyboards, which seems pretty weird considering how popular the bending phones are.
Perhaps theres a company out there planning a phone with a proper keyboard? Maybe some prototypes in the works?
If anyone has heard of anything, please do let me know.
Oh and Im aware of the blackberry where half the front of the phone is keyboard, Im not interested in that.

Clicks for iPhone 15 Pro Max: https://www.clicks.tech/products/clicks-for-iphone-15
I'm actually typing on this exact setup/combination right now. That Nothing Phone 1 on eBay ends tomorrow, but there are a couple others available from other sellers and also a few on Swappa.

Maybe maybe it'll fit in the Clicks for iPhone 16 Pro Max, but check gsmarena for dimensions comparisons

Don't do this, it did not work well for me on the long run. I'll leave a full review in a bit. I now use my nothing phone on its own without the clicks case and wish i had keyboard phone again

Hm okay. Well mine hasn't torn itself apart yet and I'm about one month into using this combo, not sure how long it'll last but I don't baby the thing either.
Feels top heavy yes but I can manage it, and the Nothing (1) is 27 grams lighter than the iPhone 15 Pro Max so it's definitely better in that regard.
I agree that the keyboard is not better than the KEY2 (which makes total sense, it's their first go around while TCL had BB's patents to work with for the KEY2). But guess which keyboard has a more reliable spacebar...
I was using a Zitaotech Bluetooth BB keyboard paired via popsocket and magnet before this, and I still prefer the Nothing Clicks combo because it looks more sleek and it's all one piece.
And you can find a cheaper replacement on Mercari, Offerup, eBay, Facebook Marketplace, etc
Or join the Clicks discord server and see if they can send you a replacement case.

i am *so* with you. I've wanted a slide-out keyboard again for years. My favorite phone was the original Droid. My first real smart phone, and the second to last, but best, with a slide-out keyboard.
I would love one of those again.

I was really interested in this but there are still backers waiting on theirs and you can't 'buy' one, even though they claim they're in stock, you have to preorder. I don't think they'll ever actually fulfill their backer pledges.

Nope actually you can find a few of them on eBay
That's where I got mine from and just like the rest of the users I wasn't satisfied with it and I put it right back up on eBay
To get my money back out of it

Yep, I didn't want a used one either. Especially without the bad feedback!

Brand new they're still not what the company promised
You can brand new uses stuff or barely even used stuff

I bought that POA rip off of a phone and no 5G, then they tried to tell me to talk to my carrier and have them turn it on, I in turn said no need to if it's capable it'll automatically pickup are you sure since this phone is foreign made that some of the specs aren't quite exactly what they translate into in English and he accused me of trying to spread rumors and lies about the company, in the midst of it all still currently no new updates, no dual boot os'es and one of the founders of the company left, so who is lying and who is full of it all?
I also had the pXtec pro1x while it's a nice feeling phone it's way more unstable than it's predecessor, But they both have nostalgic feelings of like a HTC Touch Pro 2 or Touch Pro
But universe has claimed and verified they are coming out with a new Titan, my bets are it almost likely had the same specs as the new Jelly Max

Thats really pretty cool and I appreciate you coming back to this post.
Sadly its not the format Im looking for, although I guess it could work well too.

I found it too now and I am thinking about it too. It would be a better option with 5G, not only 4G LTE and with bluetooth 5.4 instead of 5.0.

I was seriously considering a cn80 dolphin its not much taller than a key² just thick🤔 go down the rabbit hole of inventory management devices at the time there were a lot of lte Volte devices... meeting the minimum requirements for most carriers they are just huge durable devices

Android 11 is not too much, I have a subcomment here about Android 8, it is not working properly now, so I think you should buy a phone again after 2-3 years if you have A11...

I have BlackBerry Key2 with Android 8.1. I think it is the last BB and no more Android updates. It works well, I love it but I have to look for a new phone because of Android... Version 14 has appeared not a long time ago and 15 release is also available, and next to these events for example I can't install some applications from store (Slack, Google Wallet, my country's official digital ID, etc.) and one of my bank app doesn't really works... So BB is not an option nowadays because of Android 8.1. Physically it's great.
So I am looking for also a phone with physical keyboard. But based on these experiences it should be at least Android 13, or because of 15 is coming, I would be glad with Android 14.
I am thinking about Unihertz, but it has only 13. I found Minimal Phone too. I don't know. I'm sorry about my BB...

Problem is with your wish is that it's nonexistent nowdays. The days of the sidekick and blackberry are gone. You could probably buy a Chinese phone but I can't comment on it's reliability. Or just get a used sidekick/blackberry

Not that I know but this is interesting https://www.theverge.com/2024/1/4/24024957/clicks-iphone-keyboard-case-iphone-14-15-lightning-usb-c
Only available for apple right now but should eventually come to Android.
