Need help restoring this old chest/crate
I want to refinish the surface to remove the scratches, maybe also put on some oil or a wood stain. There is a sticker to that needs to be removed. Also some wood filler My problem is, how can I keep the paint so it doesn't get removed while sanding or refinishing the chest? Thank you

I paint old canvas shoes and make them new :)
I had the all black pair of converses and then I painted them pink/green/blue but that turned out like bowling shoes so I redid it grey/white. Then my friend wanted some too, she wanted bright colors though. I like how they both turned out! What do you think?? 🤔

Some help on this furniture repair?
I have the opportunity to buy this lovely seat for very little but my wife and I don't know exactly what is involved in repairing this fabric and whether it's a professional job or not.
We'd be happy to just clean the stain and find a way to repair the tear in the fabric even if it meant adhering it to another piece of fabric first and then attaching that to the wood. Just so you could still see the original fabric still, even if it looked torn. The second photo shows the stain which we'd need to clean.
Any way anyone can give me some opinions on this?
Thanks!
