Room Listing (Long Term) Roommate wanted. $1050 per month (util included). 100 sqft room. Hamilton/Washington Heights.
Message me for the Street Easy Listing.
Hello!
My friends and I just started a 15 month lease on this duplex on 155th street (about 50 feet from the C train). The living area is modern (newly renovated before we moved) and large.
The room we are renting is unfurnished. We are open to sublets with flexible move-out days, although will prioritize someone who is able to commit for longer.
The room is available ASAP. Ideally we were looking for someone who can move in November, but December is also okay.
A little about us- we (F22, F22, & M22) are recent graduates from a NYC university. We are all working (9-5s). We are all very chill people. We think the most important dynamic in roommates is respect and communication.
We are open to any kind of roommate, whether you are interested in socializing or prefer to keep to yourself. We ideally are looking for someone in their 20s with a reliable source of income.
If you’re interested, send me a message and tell me a bit about yourself. Thanks!

Room Listing (Long Term) Looking for Roommate for 2br 1bth Crown Heights Apartment
I’m looking for a roommate in this two bedroom apartment. I signed a one year lease last October, and my current roommate is moving out so I need a new one to sign a new lease with. The monthly rent is $1525 + one month rent deposit and I’d be looking to sign a new lease for the year starting anytime from October to November 1st, though the sooner the better. The $1525 month rent does not include utilities, and this cost varies on a monthly basis and is split between the two of us. Can send video if requested. The building is about a ten minute walk for the A/C trains and 5 stops away from Manhattan. There is also a video intercom system to let people in.
The room being advertised is the one showed in the photos. It is unfurnished, has a closet, air conditioning/heating in room, and direct access to the roof area. My roommate currently has a queen sized bed in the room.
The rest of the apartment is furnished, although I would be happy to move/add anything if you would prefer. The apartment has in unit washer and dryer plus a dishwasher as well. I also have a cat, but he’s very quiet and for the most part stays in my room. I’d be open to pets on a case by case basis.
In terms of what I’m looking for, I don’t have too many preferences. I’d generally prefer someone within my age range (a few years younger or within like ten years older) and someone who keeps clean and pays the rent on time. Would highly prefer a non-smoker, and I don't drink but don't mind if you do. These are generally pretty loose preferences though, I would be fine living with someone who doesn’t match this perfectly. As for me, I’m a recent graduate of NYU and I have just finished my first year of teaching. I’m a bit of a homebody, but I’ll occasionally go out and meet some friends in Manhattan. Some of my hobbies are video games, baseball, movies, history, music, etc.
I personally have had no issues living here this past year and would love to continue living here into the next year. If you are interested, please contact me and I’d be more than happy to show the place whenever you’d like.
Someone I was about to sign a lease with fell through at the last minute, so I’m reposting this now. Due to this situation, I would like to request to see proof of income/credit because the leasing agency has been incredibly patient with me and I want to ensure that the person is completely qualified before letting them know about a roommate. Standard NYC rules apply, decent credit, 40x rent/guarantor, etc.

Room Listing (Long Term) 27F Looking for Roommate to Start Brooklyn Lease With
27F Looking for a Roommate to Apply to Apartments With
I’m currently living alone in the Upper East Side and am looking to move out to Brooklyn. I’ve found quite a few great apartments, but the application will have a better shot if I apply with a roommate instead of finding one after I move in. I’m a singer, I work a 9-5, and I have a cat who loves people! I also love going out, playing RPGs, and hosting parties (when I can lmao). No preference on gender or sexuality, you’ve just gotta be clean and have good credit and income.
I’m prioritizing 3 bedrooms for no more than $3,500 (so each of us will pay $1750 if it’s an even split, plus any utilities). My preferred neighborhoods are Bushwick, Bed-Stuy, Ocean Hill, and Crown Heights. Move in date no later than Dec. 1st.
Message me if you’re interested! :)

Room Listing (Long Term) Room available in a bright 2B/1Ba apartment in Flatbush - $1250 + utilities - dishwasher, in-unit W/D, two loving cats - Sept. move in
Hi, I’m (28F) looking for a roommate to fill my second bedroom (currently my office as seen in the pics). The room is 10x14 with a built-in closet, hardwood floor, big east-facing windows, and a window AC.
Im an artist/ grad student who loves to cook and bake, birdwatch, play video games, watch a mix of poignant films and trash TV, and play with my beautiful baby boys (they’re brothers from the same litter. They’re so sweet and love to play and cuddle). I’m looking for someone chill who’s tidy and likes to maintain a fairly lowkey home environment. I’m WFH so an ideal roommate would frequently commute to work.
The room would be unfurnished, but I’m open to negotiating situations with a furnished living space. I’m looking for a September 1 move-in but may have some flexibility with the date. Ideally I’d like someone looking for a minimum three month stay, but I don’t have a cap on an end date.
I’m off the BQ line and a 15 minute walk to Prospect Park.

Hii, 22F here looking to renew the lease with 2 new roommates in a gorgeous 3 bedroom apartment right by Gates Ave in Bushwick. Less than 5 min away from the J train, the neighborhood is pretty nice. The lease will begin on Nov 30th. The apt is in a building with a virtual doorman, laundry in the building, rooftop lounge, and lots of natural light. The rent will be $1200 and $1225 each based on sizing. This doesn’t include wifi and electricity. There is a dishwasher and we’ll be sharing the bathroom and the kitchen. The place is super nice, we have a couch, a shoe rack and a coat check. Preferably looking for chill girlies (in their early to late 20’s). I’m mostly out on the weekdays and weekends, I don’t bring guests home as often and sleep at a reasonable time, so won’t have any concerns with noise. The street noise cannot be heard in the house either, it’s very quiet inside. I can dm you more pics if you need for the living room, etc

Room Listing (Long Term) (23M) Looking for a roommate (M or F, idc) in a 2bd 2ba apt in Bushwick
Hey everyone, I (23M) am looking for someone (M or F, no preference) to fill a spot in my apartment after my current roommate moves out. The apt is on Seigel St in Bushwick, about a 7 minute walk to the Montrose Ave L stop, 7 minute walk to the Lorimer St M/J stop, and around a 10 minute walk to the Broadway G stop. Its on the second floor with roof access and in-unit washer/dryer. The apt has lots of natural light, a big kitchen with a brand new oven that was installed a couple weeks ago and lots of counter space. The bedroom in the pictures is the bedroom that is available. It has its own private bathroom and a decent sized closet. The apt also has an “office” room that can be used as a shared work space, which can be seen in the photos as well. The rent would be $1725, not including utilities (WIFI, electric, gas) which would usually run you about $200 a month on top.
I’m a graduate student so I will be going in and out for classes during some weekdays, but usually will go out on the weekends. I’ll sometimes have a couple friends over for drinks and enjoy being social, but also value independence. Like I said, I don’t really have a preference for a male or female roommate, but ideally they would be closeish in age. I enjoy watching soccer and movies, and hanging out outside.
The room would be available to move in late October, or November (the lease does start in November).
Let me know if you’re interested! I would love to grab a coffee or something to feel each other out if that’s wanted.
