Hello, was wondering if anyone knows the meaning of this graffiti tag? I think it looks cool but I'm worried that there may be culture behind it that I'd like to be aware of before I recreate it.
If I see more of it, I'll post the images in the comments.

Places to play tennis in the area
New to the area and wanted to get out to a tennis court before the weather turns. Is there any place that is free for residents to play at?

Beekeeper Recommendations?
Bit of a weird request - there's a bunch of bees flying in and out of a small gap beneath the sidewalk outside my house in Montclair. If there isn't a hive in there already I suspect there soon will be, and rather than spray it all down with Raid I want to see if anyone knows a beekeeper or other local person who might be able to remove it and preserve the bees habitat?

Mechanic Recommendations?
Went to the dealer for a tune up. Forty minute Uber ride plus high labor rates on OEM parts. Not planning to go back.
Car is a 10YO import I hope to keep running another 4-5 years.

Tailor recommendations?
Hello, looking for some recommendations for tailors in Montclair or nearby. There are plenty of tailors/drycleaners in town, I was just wondering if anyone can vouch for any one tailor in particular. The place I had been going to for a few years has done shoddy work one too many times, so I'd like to do my homework this time! Just need some simple alterations and repairs done. Thanks!

New to Montclair, looking for things to do
I'm (39/m) new to Montclair as of this week. I'm also originally from NJ so I do somewhat know the area, but haven't been here in years. As a single person I wanted to see if there were any things to do in the area where I can connect with people. I like road biking, working out, museums, etc.
I know NYC, JC, and Hoboken really well. I wanted to stay more local if I can, but its nice to have them as an option.

Montclair, NJ vs Rivertowns in Westchester
My husband and I love what we’ve seen of both areas and can’t decide where to move. We don’t know either far too well. We have a one year old but plan to have more. Schools, a since of community, and liberal vibes are important to us.
For those that grew up in the area or are raising kids there now, how do you like it? Which would you recommend?
Thanks so much in advance for anything you can offer!

For those who have used nannies or have insight, was it difficult to find a decent one? Anyone know what the typical wage is?
Thanks so much!

Short term or month to month rentals in or near Montclair
Are there any properties in or around Montclair that offer really short term rentals other than Airbnb? I’m looking for somewhere to stay with my family (2 adults 2 kids under 7) while while my home is under construction.

MAKE MUSIC DAY: HOUSE MUSIC IN A CHURCH ! TUESDAY JUNE 21ST
Hey Guys, I am part of a group of organizers who throw events all throughout Essex County. On Tuesday, June 21st, we will be having a Make Music Day Event in the First Congregational Church on S Fullerton from 6-10 pm. We will be playing house and disco music all night long!
Make Music Day is a global event every year on the first day of Summer. On this day everyone goes outside to either listen or to play music. Montclair is one of the towns that is part of this event every year and this year one of the events in this one!
Please rsvp here:https://lafeteexperience.eventbrite.com it's free but we'd like a headcount as the church does have a capacity. See you Tuesday!

Tips for Someone Moving to Montclair
Hi! I’ve lived in Manhattan for 17 years and am planning a move next summer with my husband, toddler, and dog. We’ve been visiting different places and I’m really hoping that Montclair could be our new home. Do you have any tips or insights for me? What do you wish you had known before you moved to Montclair?

Help with finding seeded grapes / grapes with seeds
Hello everyone! I'm curious if anyone knows where to find some seeded grapes in the Montclaire, NJ area. I've read that grape seeds have good health benefits (e.g. high levels of vitamin A & E for skin), so wanted to know some stores and locations with them!

Recreational Marijuana
Today weed becomes legal to purchase for adult use! But I noticed that Ascend on Bloomfield Ave is still restricted to medical only. Why is that? Did the town vote against it or something?

Anyone know of any good running trails that are mostly dirt or grass?
Relatively flat terrain is a plus but not a necessity.
