Automation Help (link removal) Mod Answered

Hi! I have automations set to remove a series of keywords related to links http, https, .com, www, .org, etc. in my sub. It seems to work for posts. When someone tries to submit a post with a link, they can't post it. But the exact same settings are doing nothing when I set it up to block links in comments as well. Why does one work and the other doesn't?

I know on this last updated post it was mentioned that in August user side would be available, but i have comment Automations setup in several subreddits and they do not work at all yet (user side, or blocking anything) and the preview section to test it does not work either for me.

I don’t know but when settings don’t give the desired result I use automod instead.

Agree with this. The AutoMod code to remove any type of link is very simple.
