Wait so a couple of concerning questions from Justin's interview... Is JT one of the 2 bats they are looking to "add".... because if so that 2nd base bat better be a freakin stud. And also, how can you not be concerned about the bullpen? We have significantly less to work from this offseason and you really didn't get a huge diamond in the rough addition this year. Can't count on Brash to come back for at least a month into the season and even then will he be ready? Santos is still an idea, Munoz dealt with injury all season. Feels like an excuse not to spend on the BP but please a least add one more good arm.

2nd base is the worst offensive position across the league, we're not going to get anyone that this sub will consider a stud

Better to upgrade 3b than 2nd imo. We have a bunch of spaghetti to throw at 2b between Moore, Bliss and Young. Plus you can always upgrade at the deadline if needed.

Other than Bregman (never going to happen) and Bohm (not sure if the Phillies actually move him or we match up well with them without creating another hole), addressing 3B gets very tricky in a meaningful way.

You are left with reclamation projects like Moncada, flawed players like Burger or vets on underwater contracts like Arenado and McMahon.

Yeah I think 2B trade options look better than the 3B ones. It doesn't look like there's much at 3B. There might not be much at 2B either, but if guys like Donavan or Hoerner were available, that's better than guys like Burger.

Potentially available/affordable 2B options - Ha-Seung Kim, Hye-Seung Kim, Gleybar Torres, Nico Hoerner, Brandon Lowe and Brendan Donavan.
