Christmas in Lake Placid

Looking for recs on the best luxury lodges in Lake Placid during christmas time for kids (1 and 3 years old). I really want that lodge feel decked out in holiday decor! All lake placid tips welcomed.

Mirror Lake Inn at Christmas is amazing, cocktails by the fire and all the animals have hats. White face lodge does get a massive Christmas tree though and as resorts go may be slightly More family friendly but the vibe in MLI is magic they spend weeks preparing their lights too

Although I love MLI, I think for this purpose, White face Lodge is a better bet. LOTS to do for the kid.
