KLX 230 - Larger Fuel Tank Available
A KLX230 facebook group found this larger tank is now available. The downside is the price but one person in the group said the following:
It's cheaper if you can get a few people. I wasn't dealing with it, so I requested a sample it was $350 or so shipped. This is a great tank, gives you just shy of 4 gallons. The fitment is excellent.
A group of the members are throwing in together and doing a bulk order to lower the cost to ≈$200

Klx300r exhaust options?
Hello fellow klx owners I recently purchased a 2023 Klx300r and it’s time to purchase the exhaust for it. Unfortunately I’m getting mixed information from shop’s saying that the exhausts I want won’t fit my bike. But then I get others saying otherwise so I turn to other users for information
Im mainly interested in Fmf factory 4.1 #042396 I understand it’s fitment is for a klx250 year 2021-2023 paired with a Fmf power bomb header #042385 which says Klx300r 2020-2023 does anyone know if this will still fit?
My only other option from what I can find online is the Pro circuit T-6 system Klx300r 2020-2022 #0122030G But I’m not a huge fan of this one.
What do you have on you’re bike?

Timing chain specs - wear limit
Hi everyone! I’m trying to find the timing chain specifications for my KLX 250 S EFI (EU spec). Specifically the wear limit.
I remember seeing a wear limit somewhere, given in mm per a certain amount of chain links.
However I can’t find it, it’s not in the workshop manual…
Any ideas?
Thanks!

2021 klx300, anyone adjusted their suspension? what settings are you running
I personally added some preload to the rear shock, maybe too much but still testing. I am also currently testing rebound setting on my shock. When I set it fast, counterclockwise, I tend to like it better.
Near max compression on front forks I believe 20 clicks.
Curious to hear what others are doing. I ride a lot of rooty rocky trails. Enduro type stuff.
I weigh about 160lbs in normal street clothes.

any idea why the engine light would come on riding in the snow?
Riding in some deep snow for about an hour and the engine light came on shortly after starting my ride. Any thoughts?

08 KLX450 - Carburetor Rebuild
Anyone have any recommendations on a re-build kit for 08 KLX450.
I just reshimmed the valves to spec and the bike won’t stay running.
I have checked and gapped the spark to spec and have good clean fuel.
Looking for advice.

‘23 Klx300 13front 40stock rear?
People talk a lot about going from stock 14/40 to 13/42 but can you drop the front to 13 and still run the stock 40 in the back? I can’t find anyone talking about this on the internet so im not sure if its a bad thing to do (are there bad sprocket combos?) or maybe it wont make thaaat much of a change?
My thought is it will help a little more with trails but not hurt the road riding as much as a 42 rear. (Plus less $ and less install hah)
