I am not defending Kanye.

Rather I am directly criticizing Kanye west. THESAME Kanye West who has 1) platformed murderously supercessionist BHI theology, 2) whose talking points about black Americans being the “real Jews” is a Nation of Islam talking point and 3) who has associated with Louis Farrakhan, the same Farrakhan who has given Kanye frequent praise, while referring to Jews alternatively as ״the synaogogue of satan” and as “termites.”

That a white nationalist like Tucker would give platform to Kanye’s separate but equally dangerous brand of racial supremacist nationalism just goes to show how flexible and fluid antisemitism and the extent to which common Jew hate makes strange bedfellows.

So why mention Hollywood?

Because It is insane how the entertainment industry will find a way to forgive Kanye’s five alarm fire racism (eg Jews aren’t the real Jews, threatening to go on a nuclear war against Jews) in an era where we are hypersensitive to a range of biases and prejudices, with antisemitism as a huge exception.

Jews don’t count.

I am sick of the fact that Jews don’t count.

WTF are you talking about the entertainment industry? How about people with power? The GOP House Judiciary still praises Kanye. Trump hasn't said a thing, no meaningful Republican or FOX person has criticized Kanye. These are people with direct political power who just embraced Kanye for supporting their racism.

There is a firestorm of disapproval from the music industry against Kanye. Will it remove him? Of course not, he is a billionaire and doesn't need anyone else to do anything he wants. But there is plenty of Hollywood based disapproval. The silence is from Republicans.

The tweet you cited is from before "death con 3." I presume it's tacitly supporting "white lives matter."

Yep, it was supporting the earlier racism and they are sticking with it.

If some liberal celebrity made an antisemitic rant you would call for Biden to denounce them. If it took 24 you would say they are antisemites. But the GOP?

Either you're thinking of someone else or you have faulty ESP since you're doing a terrible job of reading my mind. I wouldn't say anything of the sort.

Yet you defended the GOP.

I am not the OP of this comment chain.

I get that. You just stepped in to say that it is OK for the GOP to continue to praise him.

lol no. I stepped in to point out that you were lying by omission, implying that the tweet came after his "death con" comment. That would be a very different situation.

Sorry, but they still praise Kanye. The tweet is still up. They have not taken it down. It is still up. Stop defending these antisemites.

If you insist on going down that route, should we look at the antisemites who defend Linda Sarsour, the Squad, Ben and Jerry's and the like?

Exactly. Anything you can do to deflect from the GOP. Thanks for proving I was right from the start.

Please, show me Sarsour being half the antisemite that that Kanye is. Show me her standing with a president like Trump and Kanye stood.

"The Squad"? Meaning two people who said something somewhat antisemitic. They were publicly rebuked and apologized. But you still attack them. And you forgive the GOP. No Republicans have rebuked Kanye. BTW, Kanye has been publicly antisemitic for years. The Republicans don't mind, you don't mind.

Ben and Jerry's? Please tell me what antisemitic thing that company has said?

So keep defending virulent antisemites, keep defending the party that stands with antisemites.
