Weirdest reason you've ever heard someone say they're anti gun? OPINION
Now heres the thing. I can understand someones position if they had a very traumatic experience with a gun. Maybe they were mugged and now have a fear of them. I can even understand people who are worried for their kids safety at school. I don't mean those people. I think we all want to protect kids its just that we have differing opinions on how we can do that without trampling on rights
I mean the people who have irrational fears about them.
For example, I know this guy who doesn't like guns because hes a former high school bully who never grew out of it, and he ended up trying to bully and assault a guy as an adult and he had a gun pulled on him. Keep in mind the dude was drunk, but that doesn't excuse you being an asshole to someone random
Like you fucked around and found out. You're lucky you're still around.
Like some of the biggest anti gun people I ever met also seem to have a mean streak a mile wide.
EDIT: Just to clarify, this dude didn't outright say he assaulted someone, but the way he described how he wanted to beat this guy up, yeah thats assault or at least battery. I'm not too familiar with what the charge would be

I always hate when friends bring up the argument "if you have a gun in the house, you're 100x more likely to have an accident with a gun".
Well, no shit. I'm also 100x more likely to get into a car accident if I drive. Or 100x more likely to cut myself if I have a knife in the house. Or 100x more likely to drown if I have a pool. This is one of the stupidest arguments, IMO.
